The Domaine des Favards is near Avignon in the Vaucluse Region and it has a clay-limestone-gravely soil. Stressed by the Mistral wind and the hot sun, vines produce low yields of high quality fruit.60 acres of vineyards surround the Barbaud Family's gite, they farm it organically and produce two appellations: Cotes du Rhone & Cotes du Rhone Villages Plan de Dieu.
