What we collect

We collect information you provide — such as your name, email, shipping address, and wine preferences — and standard analytics data about how you use the site. Payment information is handled by our commerce provider, Commerce7, and is not stored by us.

How we use it

To process orders and club shipments, personalize recommendations, send you updates you’ve asked for, and improve the site. Quiz responses are stored securely and used to tailor your wine recommendations.

Analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager), Microsoft Clarity, and the Meta Pixel (including server-side Conversions API) to understand usage and measure advertising. These tools may set cookies. You can opt out of many of them through your browser or the providers’ tools.

Cookies & consent

Essential cookies — the ones that run the cart, checkout, and age verification — are always on; the site doesn’t work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the Meta Pixel) are optional.

If you’re visiting from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we ask first: a banner lets you accept or reject the optional cookies, and until you accept, analytics and advertising storage stay disabled (we use Google Consent Mode v2 to enforce this). Visitors elsewhere have these enabled by default. To change your choice later, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will appear again.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers (e.g. Commerce7, shipping carriers, analytics providers) as needed to run La Cave.
