Domaine de MARCHANDISE - AOC Cotes de Provence

Structured with intense tannins. Luminous rubi color. Complexe red fruits with roasted cacao, violet & black pepper spices on the nose. The attack is tender and round. Tannins are smooth and soft. You can definitely feel the Cotes de Provence heat in this wine. Finish is fresh like the wind that blows through the vines and you are left with aromas of ripe fruits & violet.

At this very respected family estate in Cotes de Provence, where the entire family tenders to the Domaine, Marine Chauvier is now the winemaker. Marine has followed in the steps of her father & grandfather that started everything over 40 years ago; they believed in respecting the soil and the environment of the vineyard. Everything is done to enhance natural life, especially as the Domaine sits on top of a hill surrounded by trees.

Syrah (30%), Cabernet-sauvignon (15%), vieux Carignans (30%), Mourvèdre (25%).

Serve room temperature - take the cork out a day before or carafe a couple hours before serving, it will smoothen tannins and add to the wine.
