Domaine de ROCHEVILLE - AOC Saumur ChampignyLe Roi is made with 100% Cabernet Franc from low yield vines. Parcel is exposed south-southwest, situated beside the medieval church of Parnay on the sloping banks of the Loire. Soil is calcareous clay from the late Turonian period.Array of red & black fruits aromas with delicate spicy notes. It is a lively & pleasant fresh wine, while the light tannins give it a velvety, already structured mouth. A wonderful harmony of delicacy and elegance.Serve around 60°F with cold white or red meats & of course...cheese!
