La Dame de Rocheville is part of the great tradition of white wines of the “Côte”. Picked from round the medieval church of Parnay on the sloping banks of the Loire. These vineyards were long known for the fine white wines they produced. The ambition of the Domaine de Rocheville is to reinstate the tradition of great white wines in this terroir.
An exceptional white wine with hints of vanilla and toast. After a frank but delicate attack the mouth opens to intensity and volume. The final taste is tender and fresh.
100% Chenin Blanc on sandy clay from the late Turonian period. South-South east exposed. Aged in oak. Drink now through 2034.
An excellent aperitif wine. Wonderful with fish in a sauce, subtle spicy recipes (curry, ginger, etc...), goat and blue cheese. To be served chilled between 12°C and 14°C (53°F and 57°F).
