Coming from Sonoma Valley's hidden gem, Wood Valley Vineyard, this family winery presents a lively and expressive wine as it's third vintage!
This Chardonnay is a perfect blend of classic California Chardonnay and traditional French Burgundy. On the nose citrus, lemon-lime, cream soda, butter, chestnut, caramel, and lemon meringue. On the palate you will find big, bright, acidity driven, citrus notes that finishes with hints of vanilla, butterscotch, and a rich, well balanced mouthfeel.
Pressed to tank and fermented cold at 58°F for slow extraction, the grapes released all the flavors given to them by the small Valley they came from. The wine's fermentation was finished in neutral French oak barrels.
Serve slightly chilled to experience the intricacies of this wine.
