“Great wine at a great price.”
The bottle I’m showcasing here is this ‘Blanc de Noirs’ Brut Champagne. This bottle of bubbly is made of 70% of wine from the current vintage and 30% of Non-Vintage wine. This is a tactic used by winemakers to make sure that the Champagne’s profile can remain consistent throughout the years, despite what they might get from the current vintage. Winemakers use a combination of the Non-Vintage (NV) wine and fresh wine from the current vintage to make a perfect blend. Any Champagne that is made with this combination is called a “Non-Vintage” bottle. Read More →
In my opinion, one of the most decadent and delicious cheeses out there are triple crème cheeses, which are a more intense version of a brie. Saint-André is a perfect triple crème cow's milk cheese that pairs beautifully with the Champagne Guilleminot, which has flavors of toasted brioche, spices, and candied nuts. Serve with seasonal fresh fruit, such as plums, pulots, and currants and fresh baguettes. Read More →

Créée en Normandie il y a cinq ans et issue d’une passion commune autour des vins de terroirs, La Cave a bien grandi et s’étend désormais jusqu’à la Napa Valley, en Californie. “I ordred your Champagne for an Engagement Gift and they absolutely loved it!”
“We have been so pleased with the level of personal service and the ease of receiving delicious French wines (not sold anywhere else in the US) from La Cave.
Frederick has done a wonderful job of bringing a little slice of France to us through this unique and one of a kind online wine shop. Merci!”
“La Cave in Napa offers a delightful selection of French wines at very affordable rates (vs. Kermit Lynch), small producers, mini-tasting to get their offering known at customers’ homes... after exhausting their Saint Emilion, I moved on with more champagne and burgundies :). Deliveries and related services have been stellar. Cannot but recommend to do your French wine business with La Cave.”
“La Cave, we love it. It’s like having your own French wine expert - born and raised in France and loves to share his knowledge and experiences. Great French wine at a great price.
The wines, whether the monthly shipment or extra orders, are delivered quickly to your door.”
“Having lived in the Napa Valley for 27 years, you’d think I would belong to a few wine clubs. Not So - that is until I met Frederick Boelen, owner of La Cave. It is my one and only club membership.
The French wines, be they still, sparkling, or ciders, are superb - and at a very reasonable price point.
I can customize each shipment... I can suspend membership when gone ... I can, (and have), had Frederick to our home for a private tasting with six of our good friends ... All of this, and an extensive selection of premier French wines.
Frederick Boelen and La Cave afford members a very special bi-monthly opportunity: Outstanding French wines at Incomparable prices.”
“The wines and service from La Cave have been wonderful. We first met them through our school auction where we bid on an in home wine tasting for 8. Frederick came to our home and set up a beautiful and tasty pairing of wines and snacks. That evening we joined one of the monthly clubs and during quarantine I’ve been getting even more wine from them. They have been helpful, kind, and have delicious wines. ”
